Penn State Shenango in the Fall

Established in 1965, Penn State Shenango is a student-centered campus located on 14 acres set in downtown Sharon, Pennsylvania. It is the only urban campus among the Penn State Commonwealth campuses. Our enrollment is approximately 500 students with an average class size of 25 students and a student to faculty ratio of 11:1. This intimate environment for learning and teaching is well suited to a student body equally divided between traditional and non-traditional students. Among its amenities, the Shenango campus provides complete Internet service for all students including e-mail, Wi-Fi, Web space, e-Portfolio space, computer labs, and campus modems to access the Web from home. Professional tutoring services are available for free at the campus' Shenango Academic Resource Center (SHARC) located in the Lartz Memorial Library. The campus is two blocks from the shops and restaurants of downtown Sharon and boasts ample free parking in an extremely safe campus environment.
