Forker Lab/Science Buildings

The Forker Laboratory, which is connected to the Science Building, opened in 1972. It was named after Henry Forker who, at that time, was the chairman of the Shenango Valley Citizens College Procurement Committee (the group responsible for bringing Penn State to the Shenango Valley).
Forker Lab offers students some of the finest opportunities for study in physics, chemistry, and biology in western Pennsylvania. The Forum, the largest classroom on campus, as well as faculty offices, smaller classrooms, and a glass enclosed lounge area, are also located in Forker Lab.
