Penn State Shenango Takes 1st Place Under Schools at Hermitage Light Up Parade

Penn State Shenango did it--the Shenango campus took 1st place in the category "schools" for its The Night Before Christmas float at this year's Hermitage Light Up Parade on Saturday, November 17. Under the direction and supervision of Catrina Messett, the campus' float was decked out with a fireplace, house, trees, lots of lights, and, of course, the Nittany Lion. The campus won $200, which will be given to the Heart of Shenango Scholarship.Thanks to all the hard-working staff and faculty and to the students who walked or road on the float--it was a great campus effort!
