Summer Reading Skills Programs for Children and Adults
For a productive and enjoyable activity with lifelong benefits, we recommend the reading skills and speed reading programs. Eight different programs can turn poor readers into good readers, and good readers into great readers. A skilled teacher in each program provides encouragement, and the outstanding instructional materials have been developed by experts noted in their field
Programs are held at Penn State campuses throughout PennsylvaniaTo speak with a program coordinator or enroll by phone, call 800-964-8888, Mondays through Thursdays, 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.; Fridays, 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.; and Saturdays 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. For an enjoyable activity with lifelong benefits, we recommend one of eight different reading skills programs taught by instructors from the Institute of Reading Development.
