Penn State Shenango Alumni Golf Outing -- June 16, 2012
The 2012 Penn State Shenango Alumni Society Golf Scramble will be held on Saturday, June 16 at Avalon at Buhl Golf & Country Club in Sharon, PA, with an 9 a.m. shotgun start. The scramble includes breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus prizes, raffles and a Chinese Auction. Cost is $75 per person or $300 per team. Proper attire is required with all participants wearing a collared shirt and no jeans will be permitted. All proceeds benefit student scholarships at Penn State Shenango. The Penn State Shenango Alumni Society has recently welcomed back Nicki Fisher Biles '94 to its board of directors. She is currently an account assistant for Anderson Coach and Travel in Greenville, Pennsylvania, and is an independent consultant for PartyLite Gifts, Inc. Biles served as vice-president and then president during her first term on the Shenango Alumni Society. While she was president, the first Penn State Shenango Alumni Society Golf Scramble was held, which, from those humble beginnings, has had its most successful year this past June.
