Penn State Shenango Alumni Society will hold its 12th Annual Golf Scramble on Saturday, June 15, at the Hickory VFW Golf Course in Hermitage, Pa. Each golfer will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win golf for four at the Penn State Blue and White Course, including a night stay at one of Penn State’s fine lodging establishments in State College. On May 13, Sam Bernstine ‘78 was awarded the 2012-2013 Charles Lupton Volunteer Award at the annual Division of Development and Alumni Relations awards ceremony.
The Charles Lupton Volunteer Award recognizes outstanding volunteer service to The Pennsylvania State University; the Division of Development and Alumni Relations, in addition to civic, business, or social service organizations in the greater community.
Bernstine currently serves the University as the Penn State Shenango For the Future Campaign Chairperson and as the Penn State Shenango Advisory Board Vice President, is a PSAA Alumni Council Member-at-Large, and sits on the Penn State Shenango Alumni Society Board of Directors.
