The BSBCC degree allows students throughout the Commonwealth to become familiar with the unique business environments of their local communities, which sets Penn State's BSBCC degree apart from other business degrees.
The option allows the tailoring of a program of study to suit specific student needs.

(BSBCC):  Through the choice of an 18-credit option, students develop written and oral communication skills throughout the program, acquire contemporary computer skills, and engage in active and collaborative learning.

This degree has two Options:

1. INDIVIDUALIZED BUSINESS OPTION: The option allows the tailoring of a program of study to suit specific student needs.

Students must prepare an individualized plan of study consisting of 18 credits to be submitted for approval by an adviser (at least one course must be at the 400 level). (Schedule during Semesters: 5-8)

2. MARKETING AND MANAGEMENT OPTION: An emphasis on the skills and knowledge necessary for the business professional to function in community and regional centers of commerce. (18 credits)
