The rights and privileges of the clinical faculty are non-discriminatory and are commensurate with other similar appointments within the institution. The clinical faculty has access to services offered at the Pennsylvania State University, such as utilization of the library services, on-line services, and clinical instructor courses and seminars offered through the Shenango campus. Clinical instructors, upon request, can be given an online account which will allow access to the Penn State library Service.
The program will offer continuing education seminars when available at the campus or through the program’s affiliation with the Three Rivers Academic Consortium. Clinical faculty will be notified via mailing list when these occur. Clinical education faculty are encouraged to provide the Program with a current e-mail address to be added to the Clinical Education Faculty list serve.
A link with clinical resources is available to all clinical education faculty using the Penn State Shenango PTA Program web-page: (http://www.shenango.psu.edu/Academics/29183.htm). This site provides clinical faculty with development activities and resources relevant to clinical education
