Penn State Shenango Welcomes New Students as it Begins its Forty-Eighth Year

Penn State Shenango Held its Annual New Student Orientation on Thursday, August 22

Penn State Shenango will begin its forty-eighth year in the Shenango Valley when it opens its doors on Monday, August 26.

More than 100 freshmen participated in the campus' New Student Orientation program on Thursday, August 22, which included activities to get to know one another, academic presentations, campus tours, games, prizes and more. As part of its orientation program, incoming freshmen were also invited to attend a Cleveland Indian’s baseball game bus trip on Friday, August 23.

The celebration won’t stop as the campus will hold its annual fall semester Back-To-School Bash for all new and returning students on Wednesday, August 28. This year’s annual Back-to-School Bash party will include entertainment by the Lloyd Dobler Effect, as well as lots of fun and great food.
